BLUE WEEKEND RETREAT
The Blue Weekend Awareness Retreat continues to be the most comprehensive immersion into the work. Since the first Blue Weekend in 1994, people experience it differently. An interplay exists between the resonance of each weekend and each individual at the time. As a delightful deep dive, many aspects of Thriveapeutics are available. Depending on the theme of the weekend, different "offerings" help people "get it." The benefits that come from enhancing awareness are personal and unique. They are also undeniable.
The Blue Weekend has had many names throughout the years. Honoring the Life Force, Magical Journeys Weekend, etc. have all given way to the "Blue Weekend" we know today. Each year presents a unique theme and tagline to keep things fresh and alive. The Blue Weekend takes the theme and relates it to established Thriveapeutic practices. Take, for example, meditations, breathing techniques, postures, and movements. Thriveapeutics presents each uniquely. In addition, other specialized Thriveapeutic practices are offered, including a powerful purification process, a sacred room conversation, along with various integrative practices.
Every weekend also includes at least one Neuro-Meditative Dance and one Spacious Fluidity of Movement Session. A schedule exists to keep people in the know regarding what is coming. An important component of the Blue Weekend is the sentiment, "Do not let the schedule interfere with your Blue Weekend." People create their own retreat simply by following their own inner guidance. As the weekend progresses, they become more in touch with their inner guidance too. For example, many bodywork (Catalyst) sessions are available throughout the weekend. Each session has a unique and specific theme. Those sessions themselves help people become more "in touch" and present to Blue. What follows often depends on the awareness that comes through the session. Things do come out of the Blue. So will you!
