THRIVEAPEUTIC MOVEMENTS
Movements are true. They totally represent the state of an individual. Movements are commonly associated with the motor system of the body. A little known fact about movement is that it is also an important part of the sensory system of the body. As we move, the brain receives signals regarding the proprioceptive state of our body's movements. Having both afferent and efferent qualities, meaning that movements send signals to and from the brain, we can learn a lot and enhance a lot through movement practices.
Thriveapeutics has an in-depth practice involving movement entitled Neuro-Meditative Dance (NMD). That system works with themes and has many stages to enhance its effectiveness. In additon to that practice, a few other resources are available that involve moving the body in specific ways. Spacious Fluidity of Movements (SFM) is the newest practice to join Deliberate Movements, Slow Roll, and Practical Integration.
