CATALYST INFRASTRUCTURE
Catalyst begins with intention. More importantly, Catalyst begins with a moving-toward intention, meaning that attention is on the solution, on moving toward a positive outcome, one that is clearly defined and understood. This is very different from putting attention on a problem and working to remove it.
Once arriving at an intention, facilitators follow the infrastructure to determine what Catalyst techniques to deliver. Currently, facilitators have over 30 different Catalyst techniques to call upon as needed. Many factors help determine which technique to use at any given point in time. These factors include a participant's body type, degree of responsiveness, and other variables that narrow down the options to a few choices.
Many triads exist in Catalyst. These infrastructures are all unique and provide great assistance to a facilitator for serving participants with excellence. All of them provide valuable information regarding points of focus, what to do, and how to proceed. Perhaps one of the more noteable variables has to do with positioning. Catalyst sessions usually involves changing positions at some point. Whether seated, face down on a session table, lying on your back, standing, etc., a session allows for greater integration by using different positions as necessary.
At the completion of a session, participants receive verbal feedback from facilitators. This information help people participate more consciously in their process, something that Catalyst highlights. Whether working on enhancing awareness or body dynamics, Catalyst provides a highly specialized form of care. In the world of holistic living and improving quality of life, Catalyst is a fantastic addition.
