HUMAN TOOLBOX
The ultimate practice for neuroplasticity may arguably be playing with archetypes, also known as role playing. Every persona, attitude, and emotion has a correlated cortical map, a brain state. Each one can be considered an archetype. The Human Toolbox brings more consciousness to these brain states, these versions of ourselves, while introducing the concept of archetypes. Many archetypes are ones you have no idea are available within you. These archetypes are highly supportive.
The easiest way to begin to work with these versions of yourself is to begin playing with them. Each archetype, therefore, acts as a tool in your Human Toolbox. As you work with a tool, you include it into your toolbox. Each tool helps you become more proficient to handle whatever life presents to you. If all you have is a hammer as you, all you can do is bang away. Fortunately, you have access to more than one tool or one version of you. You can call on the right tool, the best brain state or version of you to handle a specific task at hand that you are facing.
The Human Toolbox presents many different archetypes for you to consider. Each archetype causes a specific rewiring in the brain, which enhances neuroplasticity. Working with archetypes is a form of role playing. If the brain is actually rewiring, however, which it is, then "role playing" is not pretend. It is effective. In fact, you benefit by growing your human toolbox and using your tools appropriately.
In the Human Toolbox class, we present different archetypes. Each class begins by going over the preamble. As the class proceeds, archetypes may emerge or existing ones get reintroduced. Either way, the Human Toolbox (class) fills the Human Toolbox (you).
